WWT Launches ARMOR: A New AI Security Framework Built with NVIDIA

As artificial intelligence becomes deeply embedded in enterprise operations, organisations are facing a new class of security, compliance, and operational risks. Addressing these challenges, World Wide Technology (WWT) has unveiled ARMOR, a collaborative AI security framework developed in partnership with NVIDIA AI, designed to help enterprises deploy and scale AI securely.

The launch reflects a growing industry focus on AI governance, model protection, and infrastructure security, as businesses move from experimentation to production-grade AI systems.

What Is ARMOR?

ARMOR, short for AI Readiness Model for Operational Resilience, is a vendor-agnostic AI security framework that embeds security and resilience across the entire AI lifecycle — from data and model development to infrastructure and real-time operations.

Unlike traditional cybersecurity approaches, ARMOR is purpose-built for AI-driven environments, where risks such as model poisoning, prompt injection, and data leakage are becoming increasingly common.

The framework supports cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, enabling organisations to adopt AI without compromising security or regulatory compliance.

The Six Pillars of ARMOR

ARMOR is structured around six core domains that collectively strengthen AI security and operational resilience:

1. Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

Provides a structured approach to AI governance, helping organisations align with regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards while managing AI-specific risks.

2. Model Security

Protects AI models from threats such as theft, manipulation, inversion, and poisoning throughout their lifecycle.

3. Infrastructure Security

Secures the underlying compute, networking, and accelerator layers — including GPUs and DPUs — to safeguard AI workloads at scale.

4. Secure AI Operations

Enables continuous monitoring, threat detection, and incident response across AI platforms operating in distributed environments.

5. Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Integrates security into AI development pipelines, addressing vulnerabilities such as prompt injection and insecure model deployment.

6. Data Protection

Ensures sensitive data used in AI training and inference remains protected, compliant, and governed across environments.

Built on NVIDIA AI Technology

ARMOR integrates tightly with NVIDIA AI Enterprise, leveraging advanced technologies such as:

  • NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails for safer AI application behaviour

  • NVIDIA NIM microservices for secure, containerised AI deployment

  • NVIDIA BlueField DPUs and DOCA Argus for accelerated security operations and real-time threat detection

This collaboration allows ARMOR to deliver high-performance AI security at scale, supporting complex enterprise AI workloads.

Why ARMOR Matters Now

As AI adoption accelerates, organisations are under increasing pressure from regulators, customers, and internal stakeholders to demonstrate trust, transparency, and resilience.

ARMOR helps enterprises:

  • Reduce AI-related security risks

  • Meet evolving compliance requirements

  • Build confidence in AI-driven decision-making

  • Scale AI initiatives responsibly

The framework also aligns with recognised standards such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, making it easier for organisations to integrate ARMOR into existing governance and security programs.

Early Validation and Industry Relevance

ARMOR has already been validated by early adopters, including large academic and enterprise environments. Feedback from these users helped shape the framework into a practical, real-world solution rather than a theoretical security model.

This validation underscores ARMOR’s relevance for industries such as:

  • Financial services

  • Healthcare

  • Government and education

  • Large-scale enterprise IT

With ARMOR, World Wide Technology and NVIDIA are addressing one of the most critical challenges of the AI era: how to innovate with AI while maintaining security, compliance, and operational resilience.

As enterprises move toward AI-first strategies, frameworks like ARMOR will play a key role in enabling secure, scalable, and trustworthy AI adoption.
